Our Labor Management Committee is up and running, and we want to hear from you!

Our contract with OHSU provides for a Labor Management Committee (LMC), made up of HOU members and OHSU administration to regularly discuss mutually agreeable solutions to problems faced by by house officers, as well as contract implementation issues.

The LMC convened for the first time in late October and met again this week. Among the issues we've discussed are improving tranpsortation options for house officers, making sure that people who need belt pagers can get access to them, and improving knowledge of the contract among program directors and others who are often responsible for administering it. So far, these discussions have been productive, and you should look for a transportation survey from HOU in the next few days that will be used to inform our ongoing conversation around this important topic.

If you have issue you think the LMC should be discussing or a question you'd like to ask both the union and the administration, you can submit that using our new LMC Question Form. Please note that this form is primarily for broad issues you'd like the union and management to discuss in the LMC forum. If you have questions about our contract, have a grievance, need union representation for an investigatory meeting, or otherwise need union assistance reach out to your union directly.
