Bargaining Update 10/19

We continue to have weekly collaborative sessions with management to update our contract. Next week, we transition to WAGES and will start proposing for our pay increase! We would love for you to show up for support as a silent observer at 5pm in the CHH 2 13th floor conference room! In person is preferable but Webex is available.  Please let us know if you plan to attend.

Last  week we discussed:

- Meals: We submitted a proposal for $350 monthly "meal card" at OHSU for ALL House Officers that will roll over month to month to a maximum of $700, along with a 24/7 salad bar, and that at all times, reasonable effort be made to accommodate a variety of diets.

- Sick/Vacation Leave: We've proposed a cash out rate for unused vacation days and protection for scheduling of wellness half days.

- Parking and Transportation: We started discussions regarding parking and transportation. We have not come to a resolution and will continue talks over the coming weeks.
