Hello! My name is Alex Mechler-Hickson, and I am a second-year pediatrics resident. I was originally inspired to learn more about the House Officers Union by a co-resident in the year above mine who was on the board.  After I found out more about what the union had accomplished in the years prior through collective bargaining, I decided to get more involved to advocate for better working and educational conditions for residents. I look forward to being able to contribute to this in the coming years!
