
Marc Meadows, PhD is a union representative from Oregon AFSCME. He earned a doctorate in Neuroscience at OHSU, studying synaptic mechanisms and calcium channel biophysics in retinal inhibitory neurons. While researching neorons, he was a founder of two research unions at OHSU along-side HOU. He is now working at Oregon AFSCME, aimed to build democracy in the workplace for house officers. He spends his spare time gardening, pickling/canning, composing music, enjoying the outdoors, D&D, print-making, gaming, reading, supporting local community actions, and chilling with his dog, Rumble.
